I had a dating ultrasound when I was just under 7 weeks pregnant (6w3d, I think) and my doctor told me that the due date they gave me was extremely accurate due to the timing of the dating ultrasound I had.

So, anyway, my due date is May 1st and the doctor says that I only have a 2 day give/take window on my due date.

(Meaning I'm pretty definitely having this baby sometime between April 29th and May 3rd.I know based on LMP dating that you generally have a 2 week give/take window on your due date so being told I've got my due date narrowed down to a 5 day opening is pretty hard for me to grasp. My question to you pregnant ladies is; does anyone have experience with the accuracy of an early first trimester dating ultrasound?I know nothing is for sure, I'm just curious and mildly bored so I thought I'd ask!Having a scan in the first few months of pregnancy can be a thrilling experience. It's amazing to see the little blob with a heartbeat that will soon become your baby.
